Q: Do I need any experience or fitness level to start?

No! Our classes are beginner-friendly, and you’ll improve fitness, strength, and confidence as you train. The best way to get fit for BJJ is to do BJJ.

Q: What is the difference between gi and no gi?

A gi is the special jacket and trousers worn when training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. No gi grappling is simply training that only requires you to wear t-shirt/rashguard and shorts/leggings rather than the gi.

Q: Do you offer a free trial class?

Yes, your first class is completely free, so you can see if BJJ is right for you. Your free trial can be used on adult gi and no gi classes, as well as kids classes.

Safety is our top priority. BJJ is a controlled martial art, and we teach you how to train smart and avoid injuries. Our coaches are trained to ensure the safety of the whole class and will never push you to do anything you are not comfortable with.

It is important to note that safety is also your responsibility. We ask that you listen carefully to the instructors and remain conscious of your training environment and other students during class.
