Last night, Borderlands Grappling head coach Owain Williams was honoured to attend the grand reopening of Three Points Martial Arts, Worcester’s new home for high-level jiu-jitsu and martial arts training.
The event marked the start of a new era for Worcester's martial arts community, bringing together practitioners from across the region to celebrate a shared passion for the sport.
The opening was a huge success, with six black belts in attendance. They were joined by more than 50 enthusiastic students, from eager white belts to seasoned competitors, creating an atmosphere buzzing with energy and excitement.
A great session was put on by black belt, Paul Severn, that mixed techniques, skill building games and live sparring.

Three Points Martial Arts has set the bar high in its new space with top-of-the-range facilities. The gym features two spacious mat areas, providing plenty of room for classes. Beyond the mats, visitors were impressed by the modern coffee shop space, offering a great spot to relax, refuel and connect with training partners. The venue also boasts a fantastic strength and conditioning area equipped for serious athletic development.
For Owain and the rest of the attendees, the opening wasn’t just about a new facility, it symbolised the continued growth of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the region. With amazing training spaces and an already vibrant community already, the future is bright for Three Points Martial Arts.
Everyone at Borderlands Grappling extends their congratulations to the team behind Three Points Martial Arts and the hard work they have put in to get the facility ready to launch. Here’s to an exciting future and the next chapter in the ever-evolving story of BJJ in Worcester.
