Save the date: The Borderlands Summer Grading & Social

Summer seems to be inching ever closer and here at Borderlands we are growing increasingly excited about our upcoming Summer Party. Although exact details are still to be confirmed, we have a date and a few details about what will be happening on the day.
During the event, we will also host our first ever grading for those who train in the gi, giving us an opportunity to celebrate the progress our students have made since we kicked off the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi) program back in January 2025.
The grading will take place first for gi students, followed by an open mat and other social activities open to all students and their families/friends.
What you need to know
Date: 2nd August 2025 (exact time to be confirmed)
Location: Ludlow, Shropshire (exact location to be confirmed)
What's happening? Grading for gi students, followed by an open mat and other social activities (likely including food)
Cost: A small fee to cover costs (food, etc) will be applied to the event, exact price to be confirmed
Who's invited? This social is for members of the adult class. Anyone who has ever trained at Borderlands Grappling is welcome to join us - even those who have been off the mats for a while due to injury or personal circumstances. Members are also welcome to invite friends and family to the event.
