Summer dates for your diary: Grading/Summer social/Volunteering day

Summer seems to be inching ever closer and here at Borderlands we are growing increasingly excited about our upcoming Summer Party. Although some details are still to be confirmed, we have two dates to put in your diary.
For our first event we will be hosting our first ever grading for those who train in the gi, giving us an opportunity to celebrate the progress our students have made since we kicked off the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi) program back in January 2025. The grading will take place first for gi students, then we will head off for some drinks after (all welcome).
The second event is our summer social. With details still to be confirmed.
What you need to know
Grading
Date/time:
Grading - 10th August 2025 (10:30 to 12:00 (subject to change))
Social - 10th August 2025 (12:15 to 14:30 (subject to change))
Location: Cast Iron Culture, Ludlow, Shropshire (social location TBC)
What's happening? Grading for gi students, followed training. Then a social for drinks.
Cost: Normal training fees apply.
Who's invited? Anyone adult members who trains in the gi can attend the grading. Any students/friends/family are welcome to the social.
SUMMER SOCIAL
Date/time: 13th September 2025 (time TBC)
Location: Ludlow (exact location TBC)
What's happening? Likely a training session followed by food/social.
Cost: A small fee will be charged to cover training and food.
Who's invited? All Borderlands members/friends/family.
Volunteering day
